2. Scope of Services
CityVanRemovals provides residential and commercial removal services, including packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking of goods.
3. Booking and Confirmation
- 3.1 Booking: You may book our services via our website, phone, or email. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation from us.
- 3.2 Confirmation: We will send a confirmation of your booking detailing the services to be provided, the date and time of the move, and the estimated cost.
4. Payment Terms
- 4.1 Fees: Our fees are based on the services requested, distance traveled, and time required.
- 4.2 Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed. We accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
- 4.3 Late Payment: Late payments may incur additional charges.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- 5.1 Cancellation: You may cancel your booking by providing at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee.
- 5.2 Rescheduling: You may reschedule your service by providing at least 24 hours’ notice. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date and time.
6. Client Responsibilities
- 6.1 Preparation: You must ensure that all items to be moved are properly packed and ready for transport. Fragile items should be appropriately labeled.
- 6.2 Access: You must ensure that we have sufficient access to the pickup and delivery locations.
- 6.3 Valuables: We recommend that you personally transport valuables and important documents.
7. Liability and Insurance
- 7.1 Liability: CityVanRemovals will handle your belongings with care. However, we are not liable for damage to items not packed by our staff.
- 7.2 Insurance: We provide basic insurance coverage for your items during the move. Additional insurance coverage can be arranged upon request.
8. Limitations of Service
- 8.1 Hazardous Materials: We do not transport hazardous materials, including flammable, corrosive, or explosive items.
- 8.2 Pets and Plants: We do not transport pets or plants.
9. Dispute Resolution
- 9.1 Complaints: If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us within 24 hours of your move. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.
- 9.2 Legal Action: Any legal disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction].
